Who are we?
The WIALHS was founded back in 1971 when an
inaugural meeting was held at the Victoria Institute Worcester by our
founder and late President Bill Gwilliam. There were 20 members present at this meeting. The Society has come a long way since those early days, and we now have over 200 members who meet regularly. No-one has done more in a lifetime than H.W. ("Bill") Gwilliam to chronicle the history of the City of Worcester and County of Worcestershire. Please visit this site and see what Bill has done: info@worcesterpeopleand places.com |
